WHAT IT ACTUALLY MEANS TO WIN FOR LIFE
June 19, 2012

Last week we mentioned a young kid who was just graduating and won a prize that would make his life as good as it could make of it. He was extremely happy to see how his life is going to unfold and looking forward to go to college and maybe buy a car he can be proud of, his name is Robert Salo. The perks of winning young can make a whole life of difference. Take for example Robert Salo, he is barely eighteen years old and the game he won was a $2 Win $1000 For Life Scratcher ticket offered by the New York Lottery. This game is going to pay him a minimum of one million dollars throughout 20 years and an annual check for $52,000 (net $32,000) until he dies. By the time Robert Salo is 78 years old he would have received over 3 million dollars!

Now Grover Carter also won the same lottery prize although it is a game which is a bit different since it is not a scratcher game but a drawing offered by the Virginia Lottery, however the prize payout is the same. He’s 67-years-old and if he lives to be 100 he would have the chance to accumulate up to over $1.5 million in winnings. Although two people won the same prize, the value of the prize is drastically different for each one of them. However a prize is a prize and getting $1000 for life is something anyone would simply love. Lottery winning numbers

Carter was so happy that he actually could not move for a good while. “I looked at the ticket for about 30 minutes,” he admitted candidly. “Then I decided to call my wife.” He simply stayed there watching the numbers that resulted in the winners of this amazing prize. Unlike many players who prefer to go with a Quick Pick option, Carter chose the numbers using family birthdays.

No matter if you win $1000 For Life at 18 or at 67 the most important part is that you make most of it and enjoy. As for Carter he feels amazing.

“It feels great,” he said. “It gives me a little spring in my step!”
