Junior Patel, the Manager of Jerry’s Mart convenience store, said the store is often called lucky. There are winning lottery tickets all over the walls, with the largest sum won there being $750,000. And it seems like another ticket will soon be added there, as a lucky lottery player spent $3 on a Lemon Doubler Cashword ticket and managed to win $80,000. However, what the lottery winner did next seems a bit unbelievable. US lottery

“The money is going towards the church and we have to supply the food for the neighborhood, the clothing, everything costs and we give this stuff away free,” Alfonso Riggins stated. National lottery
Riggins has been a part of the Cathedral of Prayer Church for more than 15 years. He is also the person in charge of the pastor and his wife’s safety. He also said that a lot of people in the community have criticized the church for accepting the money.
“God said a blessing is a blessing you know, no one at the church played the lottery so it had to be an outsider that came in and did this,” Riggins added.
Gloria Rodgers, the chief financial officer for the Cathedral of Prayer, claimed the prize on behalf of the church at the Georgia State Lottery’s District Office in Columbus on August 26. It is without a doubt the largest sum ever donated to the church.
“It’s an excellent thing,” Gloria Rodgers stated. “People in the community have come by and put lottery winnings in the offering through the years. When we saw this, we didn’t know.”
Rodgers added that the air conditioning unit was stripped of its copper wiring y burglars about three weeks ago and part of the donated money will be used to fix it.
“Everybody is just thrilled,” Gloria Rodgers added. “We’re thankful.”
“Everything comes from God, everything is a blessing however we received it, and it’s a blessing I’m not telling anybody to go out and gamble but however God gave it to you then receives it as that,” Riggins said. “I haven’t found out yet and I’m not going to ask that question unless it’s given to me as a direct order to figure out where it came from.”
