Nancy Millspaugh was thirsty and she is not the type of person that carries a bottle of water with her so she had to stop by Circle K gas station in Marion, Indiana.  She simply wanted to drink something, that was an urge and a necessity so she went in and picked up something refreshing and with it she also added a scratch ticket.  And at that point it was good she did not have a bottle of water with her because that would have prevented her from going into the store and getting the chance to win $100,000 just like that. The moment she scratched her ticket which she bought along with her drink was heralded a complete turn in her plans for the day and also quite a turn in her life. She scratched the ticket, saw that she won and she decided that anything else she was planing to do for that day could simply wait because she went directly to the lottery offices to claim her prize!

The first thing that Nancy did following the win was to call her husband and son to join her on her trip to the lottery prize claim office. But instead of picking them up, they all agreed to meet at a nearby Steak N’ Shake restaurant and then go. So that’s what they did, they met at the restaurant and then headed over to Indiana Hoosier Lottery’s prize claim office to claim the prize.

Isn’t it amazing that how these big lottery wins happen? You  wake up one day completely unaware of what will happen, you start your day and suddenly realize that you are out of bread or milk and simply need to go to the nearest store to buy something and for whatever reason when you are about to pay you grab a scratcher ticket and it happens that the ticket makes you a winner !  Yes, so they come these unexpected prizes which are always welcomed, appreciated and actually very much sought after.  Nancy did not share on any details about her win but one thing is sure, she will remember this day for the rest of her life.
