Bobbi Hubbard from South Pittsburg, Tennessee, makes use of her life by helping medical projects in the community where she lived for 18 years. There is little about the woman that would reveal that 6 years ago she managed to hit the Powerball jackpot and end up with $25.5 million in her account. The woman, who holds the record for the largest Powerball win in Tennessee, takes good care of her money and chooses to be very careful with how she spends it. Lottery results
“We do take a few more vacations,” the woman stated.
The Powerball lottery is probably the most successful in the world. in Tennessee alone, over $1 billion was produced from sales and 243 lottery tickets managed to win prizes worth more than $100,000. Out of the 243, 25 managed to win more than $1 million.
As for Bobbi Hubbard, aged 47, “the first thing we did was get a trustee to manage the money,” she said.
The woman paid off the mortgage on her house and the rest of the bills and invested the rest of the money.
“Now, we live off the interest. We have a certain amount each month we live on. Hopefully, it will last forever. We’ve tried to be careful about it,” Hubbard said. State lottery
However, nobody can say that the family isn’t leading a better life now, and they did use some of the $13.8 million lump sum to spoil themselves a bit. They first purchased a Dodge Durango and later purchased a superb house in Panama City, Fla.
“We go there about once a month,” she said.
Before winning the lottery, the Hubbard family owned a repair shop and auto parts store, but they sold that. The lucky ticket was purchased at the shop itself, so the family received an extra $25,000 bonus.
“We have kind of retired,” Bobbi Hubbard said.
Meanwhile, her husband, Richie Hubbard, makes himself useful by tinkering with cars. The 57 year old used to be a mechanic specialized in transmissions and electrical systems. Lottery numbers
“I still work on ‘em every day. As long as they’re fast. I don’t want one if you can outrun it,” Richie Hubbard stated.
Also, the family’s three sons have maintained their hopes and dreams. One of them works as a police officer, another one is in Israel, studying to become a minister and the last one keeps jobs as a car parts retailer.
