Hernan Diaz Giron felt he was already very lucky for having winning a $10,000 top prize but he was shocked when he was told that he had won more than that.
Diaz Giron is an avid lottery fan and he plays both scratchers as well as jackpot games, he purchased a $2 Aces scratch-off and immediately started to reveal the contents of the ticket. As soon as he saw the first ace symbol in the play area, his heart began to race and excitement started to build. “I scratched the first one, and I said ‘Oh, wow’ and then I scratched the second one and said ‘Oh, my gosh,” he said. Once Mr. Diaz Giron showed his wife the ticket, she asked “Did you win?” “I think so.” But they did not believe their win was legitimate before checking the ticket various times, at last they were truly convinced of their win.
This game however is applicable to the Lottery’s $2 Top Prize Doubler promotion which doubles any top prize of a $2 scratcher, thus Diaz Giron will be taking home $20,000.
This surprising win will allow Mr. Giron to do many things, first he plans to celebrate his son’s birthday which coincides with Independence Day, and the winnings will allow him to have a great party at home. He is also planning to have a nice, relaxing weekend with his family and pay their bills in advance for the next few months.
