The Florida Lottery is considered to be one of the most successful and efficient lotteries in the nation.  Its key role in contributing to generate more funds for education has been consistent and efficient, even during tough economic times.  In the past consecutive eight fiscal years, the lottery has been able to contribute with over $1 billion to be transferred to the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF).  This amount represents around a 6% of the state’s total budget for education.   The Lottery’s success is directly influenced by the efforts that they have implemented in order to always create and innovate Lottery games with the purpose of increasing sales which in turn increase its contribution and support towards public education.
