Gregory Raider of Rushville has just become a millionaire; he has claimed his top prize on the Lucky Millionaire Scratch-off at Hoosier Lottery Headquarters in Indianapolis. The winning ticket was purchased at Village Pantry at 632 N. Main Street in Rushville.
“My first thought was ‘What are we going to do now?’” said Raider. “We’re going to pay our bills off, talk to advisors and invest it. We’ve also been saving for an Alaskan cruise. We’ll definitely do that now.”
Raider and his wife Sandra have five grown children and eight grandchildren between them. Gregory works as a travelling maintenance technician and Sandra is a manufacturing production supervisor. Although they both have good jobs this win is a blessing for they are a hard-working couple who put a lot of hours to have what they’ve got. With this win their lives will be so much easier and much more comfortable.
New Millionaire Kept His Cool
Discovering that you have just won the Lottery can be a very unnerving experience so much that it could be very difficult to have one’s mind focused. But not for Robert Goul of Indianapolis, for after he checked his Powerball ticket at an Indianapolis Kroger store and discovering he had won $1 million, Goul went ahead and finished his grocery shopping.
“I just went ahead and bought the sour cream I went after,” said Goul.
Goul’s quick pick ticket matched the first five numbers, but not the Powerball number, in Saturday’s drawing. The winning numbers were: 9-31-38-54-56 and Powerball:20.
However that he reacted practically towards his win does not mean that he is not happy about it. In fact he has lots of plans for his windfall. But he is a practical man and first things come first. US lottery
“I want to go home and sleep,” said Goul. “I didn’t sleep at all last night.”
The lifelong Indy resident has bigger plans for his winnings. He wants to pay off his mortgage, buy an SUV for his fiancé and invest the rest.
The overwhelmed winner purchased his winning ticket at Murphy USA at 10723 Pendleton Pike in Indianapolis.
