It seems that for some, lucky simply follows them always.  Such is the case of Seema Dhimmer, a 26-year-old woman from Nanuet, who won $2 million form a Make Me Rich scratcher.   Like many college grads, Dhimmer who graduated in 2009 from the New York Institute of Technology and like many college grads, had left with quite a few loans. Something she will not have to worry anymore.

Seema stated that she considers herself a lucky person and for a reason or other she simply seems to find money.  “One time I found $100 on the ground. I once found $26 just walking on the beach in Miami.” , she said

She recalled how she won.  She had come in to visit her dad and was hanging out with him. One customer went into the store, which her parents own, and asked for two Make Me Rich tickets, the customer did not realize that they were priced at $10 so she returned one.  Seema took the one the customer did not want.

“I couldn’t believe it. I was really excited but I wasn’t sure,” Dhimmer said about her immediate feelings after scratching off the winning box. “I had my dad check first to see if it was really a winner and it was. We were happy, hugging, we were really excited.”

She then called her mother and sisters with the good news

“She’s always played maybe one or two,” said customer Bill McKenna. “I’m happy for them. (The parents) put in long shifts there, from 5:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.” He added that the Corner News store has seen two $3 million winners and a $1 million winner in the past.

Dhimmer claimed her prize on Sept. 21 at Empire City Casino in Yonkers. The prize is paid as an annuity, she will recieve $150,000 a year for 20 years. The net check amount will be $99,045. Mega lottery

Seema, who recently took a a job as a physical therapist admitted that her priority, after she receives her check is to pay off her student loans.   And just for fun she has been thinking about buying a new car.  She has been considering either a Lexus or an Audi.  She would also like to help her parents as much as possible and will definitely do some charity, though she is still considering the options.
