REAL ESTATE BROKER WINS $1 MILLION IN NC LOTTERY

Macon County woke up this morning with a citizen worth a million dollars richer. His name is Brian Rowland, a real estate broker who won playing the N.C. Education Lottery’s new Red Hot Millions. The game winnings will allow him to pay some medical bills and make available for his family’s years to come. Lottery numbers.

“I am very grateful, and I am going to pay my tithe the very first thing,” Rowland said as he collected his prize at NCEL headquarters on Friday. “My wife is a breast cancer survivor so we are going to pay some medical bills to the wonderful hospital and doctors in Asheville who helped her beat cancer.”

Rowland, who works at the Mountain Pro Real Estate in Franklin, said he intended to make use of the rest of the cash for his family, including paying off bills and the mortgage and saving for college for his two daughters. Lottery checker.

Rowland’s luck came 3 days after the Education Lottery released the new instant game. The $10 game now has five of the six $1 million top prizes still to be claimed. Rowland bought the winning ticket at Dowdle Mountain Pit Stop on Dowdle Mountain Road in Franklin. Lottery winning numbers.

Winners who select to receive the annuity after claiming their prize will get $50,000 a year for twenty years. Those who choose the lump sum will get a cash prize of $680,000. Rowland chose the lump sum option. After taxes, he received a payment of $462,403.
