PUBLIX CHAIN PRODUCED DOUBLE WIN IN GEORGIA
August 9, 2012

Susan Armstrong-Clark cannot believe her amazing good luck, she is no stranger to winning the lottery. Her first lottery win came in 2010 when she won a $5,000 prize playing the Georgia Lottery instant game Jumbo Jumbo Bucks. And her second win is a $20,000 prize from the Georgia Lottery instant game $400,000 Grant.

“I used it for renovations and a ski trip,” said Armstrong-Clark, 64 about her first Lottery win.

Susan purchased both of her winning lottery tickets at Publix Super Market locations in Alpharetta.

Publix Super Market #0762, 13800 Highway 9 N. in Alpharetta, sold the winning ticket worth $20,000. Publix Super Market #1060, 980 Birmingham Road in Alpharetta, sold the winning ticket worth $5,000.

The lucky winner selected her ticket from the Georgia Lottery’s Instant Ticket Vending Machine while she was doing her routine grocery shopping.

“It was a very lucky pick,” she said. “I feel pretty darn good.”

The lucky winner doesn’t have any plans for her second windfall yet; she is completely happy and considers herself very fortunate.

Triple Seven is a Bank Breaker

As impossible as it sounds sometimes the bank or the casino is subject to someone who will win in spite of the odds. It happens at Casino tables, and it happens at the lottery as well. As for Pick 3 a very amazing number was drawn 7-7-7 and it happens that this combination actually broke the bank according to Lottery officials. The better-than $1.6 million prize payout was more than four times the amount wagered by players on the drawing.

“Triples and quadruples are always popular with our players,” said Carole Everett, the Lottery’s Director of Communications. “Whenever they’re drawn we expect significant payouts.” This Pick 3 marks the third time this year for triples. The last time a triple was drawn was June 13th when 2-2-2 was drawn. Lottery numbers

You might not believe there would be a deal breaker, but then in life and in the game there is always a chance that that which is less expected actually does! And that is what makes the whole playing experience so much fun.
