Unfortunately, out of the 13 lucky tickets, only the one from Arkansas was bought with the Power Play option, which multiplies the winner’s prize to a cool $1 million. The lucky (or unlucky for some) numbers drawn Wednesday were 13, 19, 21, 28, 49 and the Powerball 11. The Power Play number was 2. The last time when a Powerball prize reached or went over this value was a couple of months ago, when a group of Costco workers from New York managed to win the astonishing $200 million jackpot.

There were exactly 1,290,407 winning tickets across the United States. The cumulated value of the prizes won is $10.5 million. More than 10 percent of the winning tickets (182,411) were purchased with the Power Play option. As you probably already know, the Power Play option costs $1 extra for every ticket and it can multiply your non jackpot prize by as much as 5 and as low as 2. However, if a ticket is purchased with the Power Play option and manages to win a second place prize, it will always be multiplied by 5.
