N.Y. COSTCO WORKERS HIT JACK POT

On Thursday morning a group of Costco employees woke up very happy and very rich too, after they knew they had won the Powerball jack pot. Lottery winning numbers.

It took 10 straight drawings to pass without a jack pot winner and the multi-state Powerball top-prize increased to $200 million Wednesday evening.  The winning digits were: 8-18-38-46-56, with Powerball figure being 31 and Power Play number 4. A lucky ticket slip purchased at Maulik & Chandni gas station store in Lindenhurst, Long Island, equaled all five figures in addition to the Powerball to win the whole pot.

After all the earnings were added up, the final jackpot figure stood at $201.9 million. The money value of that reward was not straight away accessible Thursday. State lottery.

There is a word that the winners of the jackpot are a crowd of 20 staff workers, all of whom labor at the Costco store on Route 110 in Melville, Long Island.  The winning ticket is said to be a Quick Pick.

One worker who was not in the winning group, Marisol Taveras, said she had talked to one of the lucky winners. “Ironically she said she is going to keep working,” Taveras said. “Everything is still the same.”

Additionally to the top-prize winners from New York, 11 lucky participants matched the first 5 digits for a $200,000 lever:  2 from Connecticut, 1 from Delaware, 2 from New Jersey, 2 from New York, 1 from North Carolina, 1 from Ohio, 1 from Tennessee, and 1 from Washington.

The North Carolina ticket as well as one of the tickets sold in Connecticut was sold with the Power Play choice, improving their winnings to $1 million apiece.  Power Play costs an extra $1 per ticket. Lotteries.
