Winning the Lottery is the type of event everyone wants to be a part of at least once in a lifetime. The question is how? Antoine Tucker of South Chesterfield enjoys playing a variety of Virginia Lottery games. One day he saw a new scratcher game, Ca$h in Hand, he decided to give it a try so he bought four tickets. He scratched the first and was immediately rewarded with the top prize. The surprise filled the air and then came only joy and hugs.
When Antoine discovered he had won, everyone in the store hugged him. He immediately signed the back of the ticket and put it in his safe when he got home.
Now that he was collected his first big win, he plans to use it to help family and those he loves. “It’s just a blessing that something like this happened to me,” he said with a big smile when he went to pick up his prize at the Lottery Headquarters. Now he can even indulge in paying someone to cut the grass.
Mr. Tucker is the first player to win the top prize in Ca$h in Hand and it was bought at JJ Food Mart at 4800 River Road in Petersburg.
