As you might remember September 2011 brought many perks for sports fans and lottery fans. There were more than a dozen scratchers games that shook hands with NFL, NHL and even College Football teams to spice it up for the fans out there and to make an unique sports experiences possible for many winners. It was just a normal day and she was on the phone, when it beeped, there was another call coming in. So she proceeded to tell her friend to hold on for a second. She glanced at the caller and told me there was another call coming in. I told my friend to hold on. I quickly looked at the caller ID and noticed it said “MD”. She immediately related the initials to a doctor so she hung up on her friend promising to call back later in order to take the call she though was an urgent one. What a surprise it was when clicked over and it was Gail from the Maryland Lottery. By this time she gave a sigh of relief knowing that it wasn´t the life-or-death type of call.

Gail introduced herself and specified who she was, where she called from and why. It was a great surprise for Kathy to receive the news that she was the winner of the Ravens Cash Fantasy prize. She was so in awe that she really thought it was a joke and asked over and over again for a valid confirmation. Her surprise was met with explicit details of the prize she won: two club level seats to see the Ravens play the Indianapolis Colts with pre-game field passes, a free parking pass and $100 Ravens cash.

For Kathy this is a dream come true since she has never been to a game before and this was the ultimate way to celebrate and experience her first game.

“I have to say that the day was perfect, even the weather turned out to be really nice. I took pictures of the players while they were on the field, ate yummy crab cakes prior to the game and bought some awesome shirts with the Raven’s cash I had won. This was an experience that I will never forget thanks to the Maryland Lottery. So everyone, keep on playing those scratch off tickets. You too may become one of the lucky winners. I know I certainly never dreamed this would have happened so dreams really do come true!” declared Kathy as a happy winner.
