Jose Martinez says that he wins small amounts playing the Lottery every now and then. He likes to play his same favorite numbers but from time to time he also buys Quick Picks and the last time he felt like simply letting things flow he won the biggest prize in his life.
Martinez of Del Rio was standing in line at the Pico #3 in Del Rio when he eyed the soaring Texas Two Step jackpot; it had reached $1.1 million, its highest level in over three months. It was a chance he had to take, he asked for $5 in Quick Pick numbers. That sudden decision would change his life completely for later he found out that he had matched all four numbers (1 – 9 – 21 – 31) and the Bonus Ball (4) for the July 9th drawing. US lottery
Martinez had hastily written down the winning numbers on the back of an old scratch-off ticket, but when he and his daughter tried to check the ticket they couldn’t decide if the Bonus Ball number was a four or 14.

Pereira will now receive $5,000 a month ($3,416 after taxes), every month, for the rest of his life and this is great news since Pereira is only 29 years old.
Pereira has big plans for his amazing windfall: “I’m going to buy a house, a new car, and will help my family out.”
