EVERYBODY WINS BUT ME
November 11, 2011

You must have heard this zillion of times. People always say things like: “ I never win, not even a penny”, or it simply seems that Lady Luck has her favorite ones and likes some more than others. It is almost annoying to be seated at a raffle and see everyone come out with a prize but not you, never you! But you are not the only one, because Dennis Noskoskie thought the same way, that is before he finally did it!

“It’s amazing – It always seems like somebody else always wins. I finally won!” That’s what Dennis Noskoskie said when he won $124,000 in the lottery in October of 2011. US lottery

You hear daily stories about lottery winners… On the TV news… In the newspapers… On the internet… On this website. There’s thousands of lotto winners every year. Yet, it’s always someone else; it’s never you. Why is it always other people that win the lottery? Well, that’s just the way it is. Not everyone can win. The lottery’s like that, by design.

However there is more to the design of the lottery and it is that there is an intricate logarithm that lies beneath it. Yes, after all it is a game and like other games, for example poker and casino, it is based in statistics and probability. In the end it is all about the numbers so here are a couple of tips that might help. Lottery results

There is something you can do to increase your odds of winning – Play a better game. For example, do you play the big jackpot games like Powerball? The odds of winning the big jackpot games are one in millions. To be specific, the odds of winning the Powerball jackpot is approximately 1-in-195-million; the other big jackpot games won´t make it easier for you to win either. Just play a better game and you’ll have a better chance of winning. You know, play smart.

Dennis Noskoskie won the lottery on an instant scratch game from Hoosier Lottery in Indiana. The odds of winning the top prize on an instant scratch game are typically better than the draw games, for this reason the prizes are smaller. The odds of winning the average scratch-off game are around 1-in-2-million. If you calculate, this makes it almost 100 times easier to win than with Powerball.

When Dennis bought his winning scratch-off ticket, he took it home and scratched it while eating milk and cookies at his kitchen table. That’s when he found out that he was a big winner. This time, it wasn’t someone else – It was him. He really did win the lottery!

Dennis Noskoskie lives near Gary, Indiana and plans to use his money to pay off some bills and help out family members. Now he is totally convinced that he too can be a winner. Sometimes chance can be paired with intelligence, strategy and better odds.
