22 OHIO COLLEAGUES CLAIM $99 MILLION PRIZE
August 10, 2011

The winners of the massive $99 million prize at the Mega Millions game wasted no time in claiming their prize. The huge jackpot was claimed a group of 22 colleagues from Ohio.  Ohio State Lottery officials stated that the 22 people work at a KraftMaid in Jefferson, Ashtabula County. The town is right between Youngstown and Cleveland. Most of the lucky winners work in the logistics and customer service department of the cabinet making company. Also, it appears that the group has been playing for many years. US lottery

The lucky winners chose the lump sum option so, after all the taxes are subtracted, each of them will receive about $2 million. Lottery officials said that the 22 players will get their prize in about four weeks. Also, the winning ticket was bought at a Speedway in Jefferson and the store will receive a $99,000 bonus for selling the ticket. The spokesman of the group said that most of the winners have bills in their minds and they are still in shock after receiving the amazing news. They chose to make their identities public, and we have a list of all their names:

Arnette Badanjek of Southington

Germaine Bolden of Mentor

Thomas Bolden of Whitmore Lake

Jennifer Brown of Chardon

Kahemba Butler of Warren

Jennifer Carpenter of Dorset

Lynn Clifton of Rome

LaDawn Cramer of Garrettsville

Susan Durman of Huntsburg

Cheryl Getzy of Concord

Joni Hardin of Jefferson

Kathleen Holesko of Newton Falls

David Hostetler of Middlefield

Beverly Kaser of Garrettsville

Marjorie Langreder of West Farmington

Chastity Lewis of Niles

Margaret Lindic of Burton

Denise Moss of Garrettsville

Donald Rosette of Aurora

Kimberly Wallace of Middlefield

Michael Weaver of Burton

Dennis Wolford of Southington

We can’t say if the winners’ decision to become known as an entirely good idea. We all know that people tend to get weird around important amounts of money, and most of the winners will undoubtedly get harassed over their winnings. Ohio joined the Mega Millions game back in May 2002 and this was the 16th jackpot won there. Lottery officials said that the odds of getting all the numbers right were 1 in over 175 million.
