WINNING $250K MEGA MILLIONS TICKET SOLD IN TALLAPOOSA

A gas station in Tallapoosa has sold a winning Mega Millions ticket worth a quarter-of-a-million dollars. Exxon Food Mart, located at 1031 Ga. Highway 100 S. in Tallapoosa, sold a Mega Millions ticket from the July 3 drawing that matched the first five winning numbers.
The winners who shared the $250,000 prize are Sharon Thrash of Jemison, Ala., and her two sons, James Hays of Clanton, Ala.; and Martin Thrash of Jemison, Ala. They each claimed their share recently at Georgia Lottery headquarters in Atlanta.
Winning numbers from the July 3 Mega Millions drawing were: 3-4-24-36-52 and the Mega Ball was 45.
