WESTFIELD WOMAN WINS A SUPER PRIZE

Dorothy Barrett of Westfield claimed a $500,000 top prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s $5 “Super Cashword” instant game.
Barrett received the prize in a one-time lump sum payment, which after taxes amounted to $350,000. She plans to use the winnings to take care of her granddaughters.
Barrett purchased the winning “Super Cashword” ticket at Getty Gas Station located at 41 Franklin Street in Westfield. The store will receive a $5,000 commission on the sale.
