VICTORIA MAN WINS $100,000 IN CASH 5

Kevin Hodges was calm when he discovered he’d won $100,000 in the Virginia Lottery’s Cash 5 game. He just wanted to make sure he kept that ticket safe until he could redeem it.
“It was a little unnerving,” he told Lottery officials as he claimed his prize. “I wanted to make sure I didn’t lose it.”
Mr. Hodges matched all five numbers in the June 9 Cash 5 night drawing to win the game’s top prize of $100,000. Those winning numbers were 10-15-17-20-33.
He bought the ticket at Stage Coach Stop, 1650 K. V. Road in Victoria. He used Easy Pick and allowed the computer to randomly select the numbers on his ticket.
