TWO $10,000 WINNING POWERBALL TICKETS

The PowerBall jackpot continues to roll and Rhode Island Lottery players saw some big wins over the weekend with two $10,000 winning tickets being sold for Saturday night's drawing.
Both winning tickets matched four numbers and the PowerBall number, for a $10,000 prize. Had the winners opted to spend an additional $1 on their wager for the Power Play feature, their prizes would have increased to $40,000.
Gulf Express at 2251 Pawtucket Ave., East Providence, sold one of the winning tickets. The other $10,000 winning ticket was purchased from Uncle Ben Liquor at 940 Douglas Ave., Providence.
