THOMASVILLE NAIL TECHNICIAN POLISHES $25K PRIZE
August 7, 2012

A Thomasville nail technician has chipped a win from the Georgia Lottery and is tickled pink over his prize. Vanson Nguyen, 49, won a $25,000 prize playing the instant game $100 Million Lucky Fortunes.

Pic-Up Foods, 2004 Ga. Highway 122 in Thomasville, sold the winning ticket.

“I was just going to get gas, and I picked one up,” Nguyen said.

The hoopla happened at home where he discovered he’d won.

“I’m happy with it,” he exclaimed.

The lucky winner has no immediate plans for his windfall.
