TAMPA MAN CLAIMS $1,200,000 MEGA MONEY JACKPOT

The Florida Lottery announces that Douglas Ellison, 64, of Tampa, claimed the July 27 MEGA MONEY jackpot of $1.2 million at Florida Lottery headquarters.
Ellison chose the one-time, lump-sum payment option for his winnings, in the amount of $1,014,268.35. Publix, located at 16041 Tampa Palms Boulevard West in Tampa, received a bonus commission of $1,000 for selling the jackpot-winning MEGA MONEY Quick Pick ticket.
