SUFFOLK MAN WINS A HOT $250,000 ON HIS BIRTHDAY

Shawn Hoadley of Suffolk received a Red Hot 5’s Doubler ticket on his 20th birthday. That Virginia Lottery ticket ended up winning the game’s $250,000 top prize.
“I couldn’t talk,” he told Lottery officials as he claimed his prize. “I about jumped through the ceiling!”
The winning ticket was bought at Kangaroo Express, 819 West Washington Street in Suffolk.
