STUART MAN CLAIMS SHARE OF $17 MILLION FLORIDA LOTTO JACKPOT PRIZE

The Florida Lottery announces that Ernesto Herrera, 67, of Stuart, claimed his share of the $17 million FLORIDA LOTTO jackpot from the drawing held on Wednesday, August 15. Herrera is the second of four winners to come forward to claim his share of the winnings from the August 15 drawing. Luis Santana, 34, of Orlando, claimed his share of the jackpot earlier this month.
Herrera chose to receive his winnings in a one-time, lump-sum payment of $3,016,930.29. Racetrac, located at 1755 N.W. Federal Highway in Stuart, received a bonus commission of $17,500 for selling the winning FLORIDA LOTTO ticket. Total ticket sales for this jackpot generated more than $17 million for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF).
