STEPHENS CITY MAN WINS $52,000 IN WIN FOR LIFE GAME

When Kevin Grove won $52,000 in the June 23 Win for Life drawing, it was a case of déjà vu. The Stephens City man won $30,000 in a different Virginia Lottery game eight years ago.
“I was excited, but it’s not as exciting as the first time,” he told Lottery officials as he claimed his most recent prize.
He matched five numbers plus the Free Ball with a ticket he bought at the 7-Eleven at 999 Aylor Road in Stephens City. The winning numbers were 5-13-15-16-26-34 and the Free Ball was 30. He used Easy Pick and allowed the computer to randomly select the numbers on his ticket.
Mr. Grove’s ticket was one of three in Virginia to win $52,000 in the June 23 Win for Life drawing. The other two were bought in Portsmouth and Richmond.
