PROUD FATHER WINS $1 MILLION ON SCRATCHERS TICKET

Gurdeep Singh walked into the California Lottery’s Van Nuys District Office feeling like a winner. That’s because he was holding a $250 Million Cash Spectacular Scratchers ticket worth a cool $1 million.
Although Singh is now officially a big lottery winner, his two children have made him feel like he already won the jackpot. His daughter is currently in law school and his son is getting ready to enter medical school. Singh said he plans on using his winnings to help his two kids through school. The winning ticket was purchased at Derrick Liquor, which is located at 3215 Niles Street in Bakersfield (Kern County). Retailers that sell top prize-winning $250 Million Cash Spectacular tickets receive a $5,000 bonus.
