PATROLMANS ADVICE NETS $1 MILLION PRIZE
August 3, 2012
When Dylan J.S. Stein of Arkport, New York asked a Cambridge policeman where he could buy a lottery ticket; little did he know the police officers advice would make him a millionaire.
The policeman pointed to the C’est Bon Market & Liquors located at 1436 Mass. Ave in Harvard Square and Stein took the officers advice and bought a Billion Dollar Bonanza instant ticket and won a $1 million prize.
He came to Braintree today and received the first of 20 annuity payments of $50,000 (before taxes). Stein said he plans on investing his windfall into an academic social website start-up company that he and two of his friends founded earlier this year.
C’est Bon Market & Liquors will receive a $10,000 commission on the sale.
