ORLANDO MAN WINS $1,000 A WEEK FOR LIFE PRIZE IN $2 SCRATCH-OFF GAME

The Florida Lottery announces that Charlie Talataina, 32, of Orlando, claimed a top prize in the LUCKY $1,000 A WEEK FOR LIFE Scratch-Off game, at Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee.
Talataina chose to receive the winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $858,293.18. He purchased his winning Scratch-Off ticket at Texaco Food Mart, located at 4003 West Oakridge Road in Orlando.
According to Talataina, "When I looked at my ticket I got so overwhelmed I almost fainted! I'm still so excited!" He added that while he has no immediate plans for the money, he is not going to quit his job.
