How to Play Multi Match:

Multi-Match is the new Lotto-style game from the Maryland Lottery. You get to play 18 numbers with four easy ways to match and win. All for just $2. When you play Multi-Match, for each game you play, you will be able to select your first line of 6 numbers or choose Quick Pick. You will automatically receive 2 additional lines of 6 randomly selected numbers, for a total of 18 numbers. Plus, there are 4 DIFFERENT WAYS TO WIN - one chance to win per line, that's 3 ways to win, AND a 4th chance to win by combining the matches in all 3 lines.

Ways to Play:

1. Play Slip:
The first way to play Multi-Match is to go to a Maryland Lottery Agent to obtain a play-slip. There are 5 games on each play-slip. That means to play all 5 games, the ticket costs $10.

2. Quick Pick:
The second way to play Multi-Match is through Quick Pick. If you wish, just tell your Agent that you want Quick Pick, and the Lottery's computer will randomly select your numbers for you.

3. Multi-Match Subscription:
The third way to play, and to insure that you're playing every week, is by purchasing a Multi-Match Subscription. Pick up an application from any Maryland Lottery Agent. With a Multi-Match Subscription, you can play your numbers for 13, 26 or 52 weeks. And if you win, the Lottery will automatically send you your winnings (all $2 and $7 Multi-Match prizes will be sent to you in one lump sum at the end of your subscription). Plus, Multi-Match Subscriptions make great gifts. Remember, postal regulations require subscriptions be mailed to Maryland addresses only!

*The Lottery will announce the estimated jackpot annuity value and cash option value for every Multi-Match drawing. The advertised amount will be the prize amount that is paid to the winner(s) of the jackpot. The jackpot prize will be divided among multiple winners. When a jackpot prize is claimed, jackpot winner(s) will have the option to receive the jackpot prize in annuity payments paid in 25 equal installments or in a single "cash" payment. A jackpot prize will be paid as an annuity, unless the winner selects "cash" payment method within 60 days after the validation date, even though a winner has 182 days after the drawing to claim a prize.

**The fixed prizes may be paid on a pari-mutuel basis and will be lower than the published prize amounts if certain levels of prize liability are reached. Refer to Lottery Policy Statement for detailed explanation.

***The Probability that one or more lines in a 3-line game will win a prize at the given level. Since more than one line can win a prize, levels are not mutually exclusive.

How to Win:

Multi-Match drawings are held twice a week, on Wednesday and Saturday nights, when the Lottery draws 6 numbers from 1 to 43. Your ticket will have three lines of six numbers for each game you play. Multi-Match means multiple ways to match and win! You win by matching 3, 4, 5 or 6 numbers on any one line, or by matching 5 to 18 numbers on all three lines combined. You can win up to four times in each game, but only once on each line and only once on the combined lines in each game. The Prize Chart shown on the other side of this panel shows the prizes and prize levels.

How to Claim Prize:

Prizes of $600 or less: Paid in cash by a Maryland Lottery Claim Center or any Maryland Lottery Agent.

Prizes over $600: Must be redeemed at a Maryland Lottery Claim Center or any retailer+ location.
(Retailer+ locations can redeem winning tickets up to $5,000)

Subscription prizes: Prizes above $7 will be automatically paid to winners by mail. All $2-$7 prizes will be sent to you in one lump sum at the end of your subscription.

Winning Multi-Match numbers are selected live every Wednesday and Saturday evening at 11:22 p.m. on WBAL-TV11 and 11:58 p.m. on Maryland Public Television (MPT).
