OCEAN AND MERCER COUNTY WINNERS SPLIT THE $447,238 JERSEY CASH 5 JACKPOT

The two owners of Jersey Cash 5 jackpot tickets that were sold in Ocean and Mercer Counties have split the top prize of $447,238 for the Jersey Cash 5 drawing held on Friday, June 8. Each winning ticket is worth $ 223,619 .
Executive Director Carole Hedinger said the winning tickets were the only two sold for Friday's drawing that matched all five numbers drawn. The winning numbers were: 02, 07, 09, 17 and 21.
The Ocean County ticket was purchased at the Happy Hour, 730 Jamaica Blvd., Toms River. The Mercer County ticket was sold at Trenton News Now, 72 South Clinton Ave., Trenton.
“We are thrilled that the winning jackpot tickets were sold at the Happy Hour and Trenton News Now, ” said Executive Director Hedinger. “For selling these tickets, each of these businesses will receive a bonus check for $750. Overnight, these retailers have become two more ‘lucky locations' for some very fortunate winners.”
Hedinger also noted that 7,257 other players won $139,004 in cash prizes in the Friday drawing. For correctly picking four numbers, 236 players won cash prizes of $351.00 each, and for correctly matching three numbers, 7,021 pl ayers won $8.00 each.
