MARSHFIELD GRANDFATHER WINS $1 MILLION!

Raymond Bjelf of Marshfield surprised his children and grandchildren at a family gathering on Father’s Day by sharing a secret he’d been holding onto for several days – on June 13th, Bjelf claimed a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s 40th Anniversary Millions instant game.
The retired U.S. Navy man selected the cash option on the $1 million prize and received a one-time lump sum payment of $650,000 before taxes. He plans to share a portion of the winnings his three children and four grandchildren.
Bjelf purchased the winning $20 40th Anniversary Millions ticket at Tedeschi #197 located at 228 Columbia Road in Hanover. The store will receive a $10,000 commission on the sale.
