LUCKY 5 WIN SETTLES RETIREMENT DEBATE
June 18, 2012
A 69 year-old Indianapolis man has decided he can quit his part-time job and start enjoying his retirement after winning $50,000 in the June 14 Lucky 5 evening drawing. Ronald Wagoner retired from Allison Transmission (Gas Turbine Division) in 1993, but for the past 17 years he has been working part-time at Kroger.

“I’ve been debating about retiring,” said Wagoner.  “There’s no debating now. I’m calling the union tonight and saying ‘start the paperwork.’”

Wagoner purchased his winning Lucky 5 ticket at Valley Mills Shell at 4887 Kentucky Avenue on the south side of Indianapolis.  He has purchased his quick pick Lucky 5, Quick Draw and Powerball tickets at that retail location faithfully for the past four years.
