OCTOBER 22, 2012 — Cristy Macias of Lake Crystal said that her husband came home from the store with a MONOPOLY scratch ticket and said, “Who feels lucky?” and then handed her the ticket and a penny to scratch it with. As she played the ticket, she saw that she won something and then uncovered the prize. She saw “$50” and thought, “Ooh, $50!” Then she kept scratching and saw that it was actually $50,000.
She claimed the prize at the Lottery’s office in Roseville on Oct. 19, 2012.
Kwik Trip, located at 1740 Commerce Drive in North Mankato, sold the winning ticket.
