INSTANTLY BEATING THE ODDS

Two players beat the odds playing Ohio Lottery games and won instantly. Shartia Brown of Columbus won $50,000 on Fire & Ice 5’s. Dennis P. Joseph of Columbus won $100,000 scratching Kings, Queens & Jacks.

After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 31 percent, Brown receives $34,500. Joseph receives $69,000.

Both instant games have top prize winners of $100,000. Retailers selling a top prize instant receive a $1,000 bonus. Joseph purchased the top prize winning instant from Marc’s, 1828 W. Hendersen Road in Upper Arlington.
