GWINNETT COUNTY DATA MANAGER SUPPLIED WITH $1 MILLION PRIZE
August 22, 2012
A manager for a data company has accessed control of an exciting prize from the Georgia Lottery. Hugh Allen Hamley of Hoschton has won a $1 million prize from being selected as the winner from the Super Millions Second Chance Drawing.
“I’m a big fan of that ticket,” explained Hamley, 55. “I’ve won a large amount on it.”
The father of three is no stranger to winning the lottery. He won a $10,000 prize in 2010 as a Maximum Green Monthly Extra Chance Drawing winner.
Hamley is happy to cash in on a second prize.
“I got a call from a friend in Tennessee who saw my name on the news,” he recalled. “I checked on the computer, and I was antsy trying to figure out what to do.”
Winning the latest prize has Hamley thinking about retirement.
“I’ve been thinking about the type of lifestyle I want to have when I retire,” he shared. “But I’m going to stick to my plan and continue working.”
