ESSEX AND MERCER COUNTY WINNERS SPLIT $159,892 JERSEY CASH 5 JACKPOT

The two owners of Jersey Cash 5 jackpot tickets that were sold in Essex and Mercer Counties have split the top prize of $159,892 for the Jersey Cash 5 drawing held on Monday, June 4. Each winning ticket is worth $79,946.
Executive Director Carole Hedinger said the winning tickets were the only two sold for Monday's drawing that matched all five numbers drawn. The winning numbers were: 04, 08, 18, 19 and 40.
The Essex County ticket was purchased at the Walnut Food Market, located at 104 Walnut Street in Montclair. The Mercer County ticket was sold at Colonial Deli & Grocery, located at 81 East Paul Avenue in Trenton.
“We are thrilled that the winning jackpot tickets were sold at the Walnut Food Market and Colonial Deli & Grocery, ” said Executive Director Hedinger. “For selling these tickets, each of these businesses will receive a bonus check for $750. Overnight, these retailers have become two more ‘lucky locations' for some very fortunate winners.”
Hedinger also noted that 3,895 other players won $84,117 in cash prizes in the Monday drawing. For correctly picking four numbers, 111 players won cash prizes of $451.00 each, and for correctly matching three numbers, 3,784 pl ayers won $9.00 each.
