EAST BOSTON MAN WINS $1 MILLION

Congratulations to Gustavo Lopera of East Boston who today claimed the seventh and final $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s Ultimate Vegas Getaway instant game.
Lopera selected the prize’s cash option and received a one-time lump sum payment of $650,000, before taxes. He hopes to buy a rental property with the winnings.
He purchased the winning $5 Ultimate Vegas Getaway ticket at Los Paisanos located at 11 Meridian Street in East Boston. The store will receive a $10,000 commission on the sale.
