CONWAY RESIDENT WINS $1 MILLION POWERBALL PRIZE

A Conway resident has claimed the $1 million Powerball prize from last Wednesday night’s drawing.
It was a case of beginner’s luck.
“It was my first time playing,” the local admitted.
Feeling upset, the winner stopped at the Tiger Mart #19 on Wright Blvd. in Conway and bought the lottery ticket to feel better.
It worked. The $2 ticket overcame the 1 in 5 million plus odds to match all five numbers drawn on August 1 to win $1 million (3, 16, 48, 56, and 58 PB: 4).
“This is too good to be true,” the millionaire said.
The winner wants to keep the win and plans private.
Tiger Mart #19 in Conway received a commission of $10,000 for selling the claimed ticket.
