CONSTRUCTION WORKER NAILS $100,000 TOP PRIZE
July 16, 2012
When Reyes Granados-Benitez of Charlottesville won $100,000 in the Virginia Lottery’s Serious Folding Money game, anyone inside the store knew it. He started jumping up and down.

“Oh man, I couldn’t believe it,” he told Virginia Lottery officials as he claimed his prize.

It happened at the 7-Eleven at 1849 Seminole Trail in Charlottesville.

The construction worker said he immediately called friends when he realized he had the winning ticket. He told Lottery officials he intends to use his winnings to help his family.
