COLUMBIA CITY MARATHON SELLS $40,000 POWERBALL TICKET

One Powerball ticket purchased at a retailer in Columbia City, Ind., matched four of the first five numbers and the Powerball number in last night’s drawing and is worth $40,000 as a result. The holder of the ticket added the Power Play option for an extra dollar which increased the standard $10,000 prize to $40,000.
The ticket was purchased at Columbia City Marathon at 545 West Connexion Way.
The winning Powerball numbers last night were: 11-17-29-56-57 PB: 14. No one matched all six numbers, which has allowed Saturday’s Powerball jackpot to grow to an estimated $60 million.
The Columbia City ticket was one of 17 nationwide to match four numbers and the Powerball number. It was one of three which included the Power Play option increasing its worth from $10,000 to $40,000.
