COLFAX MAN ENJOYS SECOND LOUISIANA LOTTERY SCRATCH-OFF WIN
July 3, 2012
Some people are born lucky, and this just may be the case with 49-year-old Reginald Carnahan. The Colfax native has won two top prizes on Louisiana Lottery scratch-off games in the last four years, with this latest win coming a week before his 50th birthday.
Gearing up for the Fourth of July, Carnahan purchased the Lottery's patriotic-themed $2 Country Cash scratch-off and won a $14,000 top-prize. The win comes after he cashed in a $100,000 top-prize winning Extreme Green scratch-off in April 2008.
"I plan to enjoy my birthday!" Carnahan shared, when he claimed his prize at the Lottery's Alexandria office last week. Call it an early birthday present; Carnahan celebrates his 50th on July 5.
Carnahan purchased his top-prize winning ticket at OK General on Highway 8 in Colfax.
