June 5, 2012
A Calhoun retiree feels lucky to have won a Georgia Lottery prize. Clide Santos, 74, won $37,777 playing Red White & Blue 7’s.

“I’m just one of the lucky guys,” said Santos, who claimed his prize Monday.

H & R Calhoun, located at 1090 Red Bud Road N.E. in Calhoun, sold the winning ticket.

Retired from the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Department of Defense, Santos said he will save his winnings.
