BIRTHDAY GIFT WORTH $100,000
August 8, 2012
Brandy Thomas of Sandstone received the gift of a lifetime for her 18th birthday — a Crossword Extra scratch ticket that turned out to be worth $100,000!

Thomas received the winning ticket as a birthday gift from her mom. She said she was hoping to win a couple of bucks so when she uncovered the tenth word to win $100,000, she was completely shocked.

Town & Country Oil, located at 302 Highway 23 S. in Sandstone, sold the winning ticket.
