BILLINGS MAN CLAIMS $1,000 SCRATCH PRIZE
August 9, 2012
Nicholas O’Donnell of Billings Thursday claimed a $1,000 prize for the “Crossword Caboose” Scratch game with a ticket he purchased at Albertson’s, located at 670 Main St. in Billings.

Nicholas said he usually doesn’t play Lottery games, but he decided to pick up a ticket just for fun. He said, “At first, I was excited because I thought I won $100.” Luckily for Nicholas, his ticket was worth $1,000. He took it in to the retailer, who told him he needed to go to Helena to get his winnings. It was then that Nicholas realized he had won the $1,000 prize.

Nicholas plans to put his prize money towards new truck tires.
