Do you ever have that feeling as if something good is about to happen to you? Heleodoro Miranda said he had that feeling right before he hit the top prize on a California Lottery Black Scratchers ticket…and won a whopping $250,000!
Miranda said he and his buddies had stopped to buy tickets at Botica Del Sol, which is located at 2331 East Cesar Chavez Avenue in Los Angeles, this morning. Miranda saw one friend win $100 on a ticket. Rather than get discouraged, Miranda said he felt as though Lady Luck would also shine on him. “No, I’m pretty confident that I’m gonna be lucky today,” Miranda thought to himself. Moments later he discovered that not only did he match a winning number, but he scored the game’s biggest prize amount. The good vibes continued. “My friends were so happy for me,” said Miranda, who now plans to go house hunting with his winnings.
