AUGUSTA SECURITY GUARD TRAILS $25,000 PRIZE

An Augusta security guard was hot on the trail in winning a Georgia Lottery prize. Curtis Janes Jr., 69, won a 25,000 top prize playing the instant game Some Like It Hot!
Janes was on his way home from work when he stopped at Circle K Stores #3178, 2631 Washington Road in Augusta, and purchased a ticket.
“The clerk picked it,” he explained. “I’m very lucky.”
Janes is excited about his prize and wants to continue working. He has five adult children, eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
“This is going to help push retirement sooner,” he shared.
