"MAKE ME RICH!" AIRS WEDNESDAY OVER $3 MILLION IN CASH GIVEN AWAY!
February 8, 2010
Lansing - Michigan Lottery players will win over $3 million in cash and prizes on the Lottery's TV game show, "Make Me Rich!," on Wednesday, February 10 at 7:30 p.m. The show is hosted by Christopher Knight, best known for his role as Peter Brady on the 1970's hit TV series "The Brady Bunch" and most recently as Host of "Trivial Pursuit America Plays."

"Make Me Rich!" will award over $3 million in cash and prizes. Contestants will compete in three separate games for a chance to win a $500,000 prize, a $1 million prize, or a grand prize of $2 million. Another exciting twist is that viewers at home will be able to text-in for a chance to win one of five $1,000 prizes.

Contestants appearing on "Make Me Rich!", hosted by Knight, won the opportunity by playing Michigan Lottery Instant Games. Anyone interested in being a future contestant can get more information by visiting www.Michigan.gov/lottery and clicking on "Make Me Rich!"

Created by Hollywood game show producer Jonathan Goodson Productions, "Make Me Rich!" will air new shows quarterly with a variety of exciting prizes in eight markets across the state: Alpena (WBKB-TV), Detroit (WDIV-TV), Flint (WNEM-TV), Grand Rapids (WXSP-TV), Lansing (WLAJ-TV), Marquette/Escanaba (WJMN-TV), Muskegon (WMXG-TV) and Traverse City (WGTU-TV). Christopher Knight will host all future productions, with the third show slated to air in June 2010.

Starting his acting career at age of seven, Christopher Knight began appearing in national commercials and television shows such as "Gunsmoke" and "Mannix." Fortune smiled upon Christopher's at age ten when he won the part of middle brother, Peter Brady, in "The Brady Bunch." Airing from September 1969 - August 1974, it is one of the most successful television shows of all time. Working throughout his teens and twenties Knight continued to pursue his acting career with numerous staring rolls in films, TV movies and television series. During this period Knight held a long stint on the soap opera "Another World" as Leigh Hobson who happened to hail from Michigan's "Bay City" and then the highly regarded, though short lived, Norman Lear series "Joe's World" about the blue collar Wabash family from Detroit. With "Make Me Rich!", Michigan seems to continue to play a central role in Knight's life. After nearly 20 years out of show business and focused on business, Knight recently reentered "the biz" when he garnered great attention for his appearances on VH1's "The Surreal Life" then his life altering experience on "My Fair Brady." Most recently Knight found his calling as a game show host - on the wildly popular syndicated game show "Trivial Pursuit America Plays."
