SECOND TIME A CHARM FOR BC LOTTO MAX WINNER

Kamloops, B.C. – Neil Morris isn't greedy. The Prince George forestry worker once told friends and family that winning "just $100,000 on the lottery" would be all he'd need.
On Christmas Day, Neil got his wish when he matched 6/7 plus the bonus number on his LOTTO MAX ticket to earn more than $103,000.
"Now, I guess I'm going to have to set the bar a little higher," joked the 47-year-old father of three.
"I used to buy Super 7 tickets all the time and this was just the second time I ever played LOTTO MAX," said Neil. "Needless to say, I couldn't believe my eyes a couple days after Christmas when I used the Check-A-Ticket machine at the grocery store to check my numbers. I yelled over to my wife 'Tracey, I think we just won over $100,000!' I can't tell you what she said."
"I grabbed a pen, signed the back of the ticket, then took it over to the lottery kiosk to have it validated," said Neil. "Bells and lights started going off, and the woman behind the counter started crying!"
Neil says he plans to "put a little in the bank" and to renovate the family home. His lucky LOTTO MAX ticket was purchased at the Mohawk station on 122 George Street in Prince George.
