MADISON MAN WINS $1,000 PLAYING DIAMOND MINE 9X

Carlos Medina of Madison won $1,000 playing the $5 Scratch game Diamond Mine 9x from the Nebraska Lottery.

Medina purchased his winning Diamond Mine 9x ticket at Lou's Thriftyway Market, 807 South 13th Street in Norfolk. Scratching the ticket, he revealed matching symbols for a correspond prize of $1,000.

There are four $1,000 prizes available in Diamond Mine 9x. Medina is the first person to claim a $1,000 prize to date.

Diamond Mine 9x is a $5 Scratch game from the Nebraska Lottery that offers players the chance to win $816,000 in cash prizes from $5 to $32,000. The odds of winning $1,000 playing Diamond Mine 9x are 1 in 80,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.66.
